The Role:
We’re hiring a Senior Software Engineer (Frontend/Mobile) to be the technical driver of our new mobile experience. This is a very hands-on role focused primarily on React Native, with occasional work in React for web. You’ll take the lead on building our mobile app from the ground up, while also contributing to web-based interfaces and internal tools when needed.
This isn’t your first mobile product launch - you’ve done this before, you have strong opinions about architecture and design, and you know how to ship polished, high-performing apps. You'll work closely with design, product, and engineering leadership to build intuitive and beautiful experiences, fast.
What You'll Do:
- Own the development and delivery of our mobile app using React Native, from ideation to launch
- Jump into our existing React codebase when needed - especially on shared components and internal tools
- Partner closely with the design team to bring elegant interfaces to life and uphold a high UX bar
- Shape the direction of our mobile architecture, patterns, and development process
- Contribute across the full product stack as needed (especially if you lean toward full-stack experience)
- Drive key projects, such as:
- Building and launching core pages of the consumer app as part of a 0→1 product experience
- Redesigning our internal developer portal to support AI-powered RAG workflows and new data integrations
We're Looking For Someone Who:
- Has deep experience with React Native, including end-to-end mobile app development and launch
- Is highly hands-on and can move quickly across both mobile and web
- Has worked on multiple consumer-facing products, ideally from scratch
- Cares deeply about design and user experience - has strong taste and the confidence to defend it
- Brings a senior mindset: sets direction, owns decisions, and gets things over the finish line
- Thrives in startup environments where they can be autonomous, opinionated, and fast-moving
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with native iOS/Android modules
- Exposure to LLMs, avatars, video, or AI/ML-powered products
- Familiarity with backend APIs, RAG pipelines, or GraphQL
